LetterPress Printing Press

In addition to digital printing, Dear Addie offers letterpress printing to emboss, deboss, foil stamp or add trim to your embossed stationery. We use a 1971 Heidelberg Windmill.

Dating back to the 15th century, letterpress printing was the original form of printing. Much like deckle edge, the rise of modern machinery created nostalgia for the traditional printing method and a desire for the lost art form. A letterpress cuts and imprints individual sheets of paper, giving each stationery piece an impression that cannot be replicated by digital or offset printing. It is a more personal form of printing — a characteristic we strive for at Dear Addie.
